I have disabilities from a prior bike accident. I got this Yamaha without riding it myself but on my husband's saying "it's good" after taking the test ride. The bike caused me great pain. We thought a Mean City seat mod would fix the problem but it turned out to be more than just the seat and riding position that didn't fit. Mean City did an awesome job and the mod made a HUGE improvement. I finally got rid of that Yamaha and went back to a Honda. My new VTX causes me no pain but I am still going to have Mean City pad my seat. That is how much I love this modification! Thank you guys.

Best thing I ever did. I got my seat lowered and It restored my confidence at stops and in parking lots. The new seat is real comfortable and look forward to pounding out some miles. I got my seat back Saturday put it on went for short ride, most important thing was I could get both feet on ground. rode 100 miles last evening have not complaints vey comfortable seat I am very pleased, will recommend to anyone

The seat needed some adjustment to account for my short legs and I wanted to keep that Heritage stock look with the studs. These guys do great work and are very good people, and they can remodel any stock seat for a third of the price of say a Mustang (good seat), put a heater in it, and still be much more comfortable than said Mustang. Before you buy a new seat in these economic times, check these guys out.

I just wanted to tell you guys you have hit a home run! Your new bag liners are the bomb. Installation was super easy and look freaking awesome. I showed a couple of my riding buddies and you will be getting a call from them very soon if they haven't called already. Everybody that sees them think they look awesome too. I have a Hond VTX1800T and love the bike however the seat sucked. It amazes me that a bike that was designed in the land of the Sumo Wrestler would have the seat designed to fit the butt of a anorexic Japanese school girl. After reviewing a lot of comments form people that had their seat modified by Mean City Cycles, I decided to give them a try. I couldn’t be happier. I have put several hundred miles on it since I got it back from Allen. I went with the Double Decker Memory Foam Mod for the drivers seat. I’m a pretty big boy and Allen recommended that I go this route. Since he knows more about seats than I, I went with his suggestion. There is as much difference between the stock and modified seat as there is in night and day. If I road more than 75 miles on the stock seat, my butt and back were killing me. The modified seat will allow me to go 200 miles easy before I need to get off and that is usually for gas or a bladder dump. The price was right and the seat was delivered in the agreed upon time frame with no surprises. I have been riding over 50 years and have owned about everything I could put my butt on and this seat mod ranks as one of the best investments in rider comfort that I’ve made in a lot years. So to sum it up, if you are not happy with your seat, call Allen at Mean City Cycles and make your butt happy. Don D

These folks are just plan great from their work to the customer service. I had a ride in appointment and some how got my day mixed up and arrived a day late,they tell me no problem. 1 hour later I have my seat back and heading home. I use to only go about 50 miles and started getting the butt burn and it would stay with me all day. Since the modifications I can ride as long as I want to and never have any discomfort. Thanks a lot guy's and keep up the nice work.

My seat has become a none issue. I can ride all day and not worry about my butt. The service was great. Thanks for a great job....
