I purchased an HD Badlander seat for the low profile look. It was a great seat, but I could only stay in it for about two hours at a time. I contacted Allen and he guaranteed that if I sent him the seat he would take care of the rest and I would be 100% satisfied. It was really an act of blind faith on my part. I am fanatical about my bike and it can be exhausting for anyone to deal with me. So, for me to send out my seat and have someone change it without me being present or involved was really out of my comfort zone. I did it anyway; mainly because of his impeccable reputation. But also because Allen was patient, professional and courteous when dealing with me. Fast forward: I got the seat back in a few days. It looked great. More importantly, it felt great. My longest ride so far has been about four hours and I am AMAZED at the difference in comfort. It's a completely different seat to the point where I don't even think about it and just take it for granted now. After the thousands I've invested into my machine I can't believe this is the upgrade that has brought me the most riding enjoyment. MCC knows their stuff. And what's even better...they know our seats and how to get the most out of them. Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE this mod! I was on a never-ending quest for the perfect seat. I wanted something to sit me lower, and farther away from the tank, but still be comfortable. After Mustang, Saddlemen, and Ultimate didn't fit the bill, I called Mean City. They advised me, based on my dimensions, and my desires, to do the memory foam mod. I told them I didn't mind spending the money for their most expensive mod if need be, and they told me based on my height/weight, it was not necessary. Didn't try to upsell anything not needed! I also had them fit a new piece of vinyl to the seat where i ripped it doing the "homboy" (a.k.a. "butt-cutt") mod to my seat. Excellent job, and I couldn't be happier with the seat!!!

Got my Mustang Solo Seat back from Allen today and the seat is excellant. Had the thigh area of the seat reshaped and one of the panels replaced in the seat. Replacement panel looks as good if not better than when Mustang made it. Thigh area modification took the pressure off the inside of my legs, I'm a short guy. Excellant work and craftsmen. Third seat that Mean City Cycles has done for me and I extremely satisfied with all 3. Thanks to Lorie for the scheduling and Allen's shop for the great work.

Just got my seat today. This seat is perfect. I could touch the ground before but now I am perfectly flat footed and the seat is really comfortable. Thanks again.

Wow, what a difference this mod makes from the stock seat! Just got back from a 150 mile ride after installing the seat, and the difference is like day and night; no burning butt, numb legs, etc. I felt like i could ride all day with the new seat. Can't say enough good things about the folks at Mean City, so helpful during the entire process.

Super fantastic customer service, and exceptional work. Right out of the box, this seat is comfortable, fits like a glove, and succeeded in lowering me a good 2". I cant wait to see how much better it gets after breaking it in. I am a fan and will refer everyone I know.

Seats are way more comfortable than we ever thought possible. Tail bone pain is gone and my wife is much happier after a long ride. Awesome company to deal with. Work completed as promised, when promised. Seats were gone for a very short period of time. Total price is well worth it. Thanks.

I had my seat modified twice. I initially went with the medium/soft foam. I'm what you would call a big bottom girl and it was no match. LOL! It was definitely better than the stock seat, but, I needed more support. I called in and spoke with Allen, explained my dilemma and set up a drive in appt with NO PROBLEM. This time I went with the medium foam. We drove the 8 hours this time so I couldn't test it out until we got home. We were 3 hours into the test ride when my husband asked me "How is it?" I replied "How is what?" I can honestly say I forgot what I was sitting on a motorcycle seat!! It's a small piece of Heaven!! Now, I can again enjoy 15 hour rides!! Thank you so much!

Bought an Ultra to replace the Softail and was considering installing a lowering kit until I found MCC on the net. Had the Super Narrow done and I feel comfortable once again in a parking lot full of rocks. Only a couple of hundred miles on the modified seat, but a very noticeable improvement from the stock configuration. Looking for a street glide seat now. I installed the detach kit and can pull the tour pak at will.

OUTSTANDING Company to deal with! Kevin, GREAT job on the seat! What a difference!! NO MORE BUTT BURN!! No more tailbone pain (injured tailbone in the Military-1974). I really appreciate a company that does exactly what they say and more. Kevin acted as though I was the only person that mattered, and took his time in making sure I got the correct MOD for my wife and I. Twice, we talked, just to make sure. He even steered me away from a much more expensive MOD, saying that I probably would be just as happy with the Memory Foam Mod. I actually ordered the Double Decker Mod, my choice, extra insurance for my butt, I thought! Because of my tailbone, he recommended a Tailbone Channel, which works GREAT. Put us down as VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS! Thank You!!

Had my sundowner seat lowered, moved back and memory foam added about two months ago. At first did not notice much difference, however with about 1000 miles on it, it is just great. A little break in and i can ride for a couple hours without even moving. Worth every penny

5'7" with 29" inseam. Reduced Reach seat was too causing severe discomfort on long trips. Called MCC and got their recommendations for modding the stock seat and I am glad I did. Went with the Super narrow mod, down 1", and forward 1/2". Also installed 12" Progressive rear Shocks. I can now ride in comfort and flat foot the Ultra. I highly recommend MCC. Fast service and quality work. Thanks guys. Bigiron.

I had the Extreme Mod performed on my stock FLHXI Touring seat and the results are phenomenal. I didn't get any gel pads or anything like that added, and yet, the seat feels wonderful. There are bumps in the road that I remember feeling before that I can't feel anymore. Mean City Cycles, you are definitely not going to get rest this winter, I have told over 50 people about this Mod and have had others test it out in person, and they are prepping to make appointments this winter. Good Job and Thanks a Million!!!

I recently had you modify a stock seat for my wifes 06 Ultra Classic. She was using an HD super reduced reach seat that she found very uncomfortable after more than a half hour in the saddle. You gave the stock seat a memory foam modification, moved the driver 1 inch forward, narrowed the nose and installed a custom flame stitch cover on the seat. She absolutly loves it! The bike has never fit her so well. We had lowered the front and rear of the bike 1 inch, installed a true dual exhaust system for better leg clearance as well as put on the super reduced reach seat. The bike still didn't quite fit her untill we put on your modified seat. Not only can she sit flat footed with room to spare but her highway pegs are now a perfect fit. We did a 170 mile ride yesterday and she found it to be very comfortable and we both love the look of it. This is the second seat you have modified for us. You also gave my seat a double memory foam modification that is definatly more comfortable than stock after a good 1500 miles of break in. I will recomend Mean City Cycles to anyone I talk to about seats. Thank you for a great service and product!

Received my seat the day after it was completed in the shop. NICE! The look of the stock seat was retained, which I wanted. After only a short test ride, I can already tell the difference. MUCH easier on the hind parts. My passenger even stated that she could sit on the back all day, which of course make me even happier. I will definitely recommend Mean City to ANYONE who needs a new seat! THANK YOU!!!!!

More than I hoped for, for those of us who are height challenged this mod as requested lowered me about 1 1/2 inches with no loss of comfort. Had to sacrifice heated seat to get lower, but seat heat in florida pretty useless anyway. My second mod done by Mean City. Do a mod before you spend big bucks on a custom seat. !!!!

I saw a glowing review on an owners' forum and thought I'd give Mean City a try. I had my last bike seat done somewhere else and wasted $230 on that as I couldn't tell a difference. My stock seat had my butt burning after 20 minutes. I called Mean City and spoke with a lady who was great. The customer service is so good there it REALLY stands out! The lady was in no hurry to get me off the phone, and asked a bunch of questions, then made suggestions such as a tailbone relief channel. I sent my seat in and got a call VERY early in the morning it was to be done. They had it finished already, and shipped it out. They did it Friday; I got it Monday. I could tell a huge difference sitting on it right off the bat, and it is getting more comfortable the longer I use it. I did a three hour poker run yesterday and was amazed there was no burning yet at all, and I was still comfortable. You guys are the best, and your prices and customer service are second to nobody! Thank you SO much. I love my seat now.

My wife couldn't go more than 20 miles on my 1100 Classic without needing to get off for a rest. Then after the next 20 she was getting numb! The ride ended then. So I ordered a Comfort Rider Plus from Mean City Cycles and hoped for the best. I was amazed at the quality of construction! Then I put it on the bike and my wife on the seat and away we went. 63 miles and 1.5 hrs later we were back home. She loves it! Not numb or painful and she went 50 miles before she felt like she needed to fidget. That was mostly because of her hip and the foot pegs. Not her bottom. I hope to get mine redone for Christmas! With a heater in it! I highly recommend Mean City Cycles. Truly a custom made to fit sit! MONEY WELL SPENT!
