Before the pillion modification, I had to stop every 50 to 60 miles for my wife to get off of the stock pillion. The stock foam would compress down until she felt as if she were sitting on the pan. She can now ride the full 180 miles between fueling without having to stop and get off of the seat. Brent and Allen did a great job. I will be scheduling an appointment for my seat to have the same modification done. Thanks guys.

I've had my seat back for a while now, and the difference in the ride is GREAT! I am able to ride four times as long as I was before thanks to the seat modification that Mean City Cycles did. Your company's turn around time is great.....it only took you guys a week, and that is from the time I mailed it from home!! I live in Southern California, and there isn't a company around that even offers seat modification, so I was very relieved when I found you guys online. I have already told several of our riding friends about your company, and will continue to do so every chance I get. Hope it gets you all some more business, because you do a fantastic job. My thanks to you for making the ride even more enjoyable...Momma is DEFINITELY HAPPY!!

Had the modification done over the winter and took it out today for the first time. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work, the speed with which it was done, the entire experience. I would recommend Mean City Cycles to my friends. Now to the seat- I can't believe the difference! I'm taking a trip to Alaska (from Chicago) this summer and was concerned about the seat. This seat is so comfortable that I'm sure the trip will be more enjoyable as a result. No need to throw the gel pad on after three hundred miles now. Keep up the excellent work.

Mean City Cycles rebuilt my stock 2007 Street Glide seat with memory foam in February. At that time the bike was in storage and I only recently got the opportunity to put it back on and road test it. The results were better than expected.

I was looking to move slightly forward to sit "in the pocket" and was told that I also would gain the advantage of lower and narrower. The results were perfect, the workmanship was excellent and I even appreciate the science you have built into your schedule. I especially like the better overall feel from the stock seat, while keeping the original look, which I liked.

Very nice job all around.

Just got my seat back and it rocks!!! What a major improvement! The one issue I have had with my '09 Ultra since I bought it was the seat......too tall and too wide. After discussing with Allen I went with your memory foam modification and could not be more pleased. I now really feel like I'm sitting "in the bike" rather than on it. My whole center of gravity is better while riding. You guys are awesome.............great service and great people to work with. Mark Reid (Bud) writes:

I ride a really good looking 2005 Harley Softail Deluxe. Although the stock seat was terribly uncomfortable, I liked the traditional look and wanted to preserve it if possible.

I heard about Mean City Cycle from a friend who suggested that Allen might have a solution. In addition to gaining comfort, I needed to raise the rider height in the saddle 1"-3"and be moved back as much as possible.

The initial modification was 100% improvement from stock and for most would have been perfect. However, I was still not exactly where I needed to be. So, I began a dialog who insisted that I send the seat back for another look and further modification if possible.

I just got my seat back after the second modification and "wow" what a difference, they accomplished the impossible. I'm higher on the bike, further back and the ride is comfortrable.

As amazing as the ride is the fact that Allen would not let me pay for the additional work and time they put in making me happy, and I am.

Thanks for everything.

My husband & I love to ride, so our plan was to ride up from GA & drop off the seat. However, when I sent Brent and email he told me they could schedule a ride-in. We did just that! Rode to the shop, they took off the seat & made the modification while we waited! Alan was in Sturgis, but Brent & Steve were great. Brent was our host, and gave us the history of MCC, as well as a tour of the new location. Meanwhile, Steve was working on the seat. He even brought it out for me to test the results before he finalized the job! They were both great! The modification was a necessity to keep riding, and my hind parts were much happier on the ride home to GA. I plan to use them again in the future for a custom modification, to include custom stitching and leather! Thanks MCC.

I'm writing to tell thank you for the incredibly wonderful job you did in recreating my motorcycle seat! For the first time I can now place both feet on the ground at the same time, the seat is so incredibly comfortable and no longer hurts my thighs. In fact, I now can ride my bike and not even think about my seat... other than, "Ooooo, this seat is so comfy".

The extra heater placed inside is the greatest addition and I sure needed it the other day. I'm kind of sorry I didn't wait and get the heater with the thermostat and I didn't know if that was something I could add myself later or if you sold the thermostats. At this time, the seat just keeps heating and heating and heating... its pretty amazingly warm and I love it, but I wonder if I'm going to need to regulate the temperature by turning it on and off myself manually with the switch mounted to the seat. That is what I did the other day as my bottom was getting pretty darn warm!

I just adore my "new" seat and think you guys are awesome! The foam is comfortable beyond my expectations, the workmanship is superb and for the first time I can ride for hours and not even think about my seat because now my motorcycle fits me perfectly. All of this because of you guys! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I tell everyone to send their seat to Mean City Cycles and when they sit on my seat they are surprised how comfortable it is and how low it was able to be made to fit my five foot tall body. I even had the Honda dealer guys sitting on my bike and they loved the seat, too!

The Mustang aftermarket seat is a great improvement over the stock seat. But the wife still could not ride for very long with it. Even though the seat looks NO different after the modification, there is a big improvement in the seat. The Comfort Rider modification on the Mustang passenger seat is a noticable improvement. We had to stop about every 40 miles before the modification. Our first stop was at 100 miles after the modification on the first trip taken. She is so happy with it that I am going to have the drivers seat modified also. My only regret is that I did not hear about MCC until after I bought the aftermarket seat. I hear that they can do wonders with the Stock seat.

I purchased my 09 street glide last april and never rode more than 200 miles since my butt and back couldn't take it. I sent in my seat for the mod and upon return rode 500 miles and felt great. The next morning i put on 200 miles by 10 am. The next year next day I returned home 500 miles and I felt great. I am in SD and don't have a year round season to ride and I put 6000 miles on with this seat. when we went to Sturgis I got off the bike after 500 miles and walked around with no discomfort from the ride. On the way home we even went out of the way by 100 miles to avoid traffic and again no discomfort. I am now sending in a 2 up sundowner to get redone as I purchased a tour pack and would like my wife to ride with me. Anyone thinking of getting a new seat needs to look into having a mod done instead.

These testimonials don't do justice to the quality of your work. It's like I'm riding a different machine; one that's comfortable. Thirty miles with the stock seat was about all that my hip replacement would take. The custom seat I bought wasn't any better. Your seat is actually amazing. I finally got a chance to take my new seat out for a long ride. I got on the bike and went 140 miles. I love the way the seat sits low and in the bike. To tell you the truth though, this is what surprised me. It dawned on me, at about 100 miles or so, that I was not even thinking about the seat I went on another 40 miles to home and when I got off the bike I realized that I had not been shifting my weight at all, I was just enjoying the ride with no butt burn. In fact it was just like getting out of the car, I simply did not feel anything! I even thought well, maybe my butt is just numb and I can't feel anything, but no, I felt it and it wasn't numb. I WOULD NOT SELL THIS SEAT FOR $1000.00 DOLLARS!!! You sure do understand butts. Many, many thanks Allen, I really appreciate it. You have put the fun back in biking. Hello. I had the $100 memory foam upgrade done to my 08 Fatboy seat. I just wanted to say that as soon as I sat on the seat for the first time, I felt the difference. And what a difference! I feel like I sit "in" the seat now, and no ore "butt burn". Also, I noticed that at a stop, when I put my feet down, the seat actually "squishes" between my legs, making it comfortable. The Fatboy seat is a wide seat, and it would almost stop the blood flow in my legs at a stop. LOL! I tell anyone with a bike about MCC. Thank you! Good luck with your business, you deserve it!

At my request, you sent the dealership pictures of the seat after you tore it down and then pictures of how you customized the seat. The HD dealership got 2/3 of my money back from the company they recommended and the HD gave me the rest for a FULL REFUND!!By the way, the company that first did the customization charged me more than twice your charges!

Great job guys. Just returned from a 200 mile trip and it felt great. Actually it feels like the Reach seat by Harley when I first sat on it. Already passed on the info to some friends who will be contacting you guys shortly. Thanks for a great job.

All I can say is "wow!". Night and day difference in the ride comfort. Went out for 2hr ride and didn't have to move around in the seat! I also sit lower on the bike, giving me a far more comfortable riding position. Great work guys!!

Finally, my seat fits! I put 120 miles on it the day I got it back and I couldn't be happier. The mods were done to perfection and the comfort is incredible. You even got it done early. Mean City Cycles, you saved my butt!

I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for the great job you did on my seat. It's exactly what I wanted. I took it for a two-hour ride yesterday and the difference was amazing. No more butt burn and very comfortable. I tried out the heated seat, but I guess because it was so hot outside, I couldn't tell if it was working or not. I guess I will have to wait until in cools down to see if it still heats. Nonetheless, I am very pleased with the job you did and the quick turnaround. If I'm ever asked, I will highly recommend Mean City Cycles to anyone who needs a seat modification.

Talk about great customer service and a great product. For half the cost of those other guys, I got a seat that actually fits me just right. Being a shorter rider is a challenge, and these guys knew just what to do. Thanks guys, Im recommending y'all to every one I know :)

I guess its time to eat crow. When I first got the seat I was in a funk because I had to remove the sissy bar and back rest just to install it. I went for a ride. The first ten minutes I was ready to toss it. It was too close, it hurt my rear and it didn't seem any lower. After half an hour it felt better. Not hard, I could reach the bars and when I stopped I could actually reach the ground. After an hour I was ready to apologize for my nasty thoughts. This seat is better than the Corbin I had and it cost twice as much. I rate this seat as number one and recommend it to anyone that is looking to replace their stock seat. Guys I'm really sorry for my first thoughts. Keep up the good work.

Allen, I want you to know that your seat modification has just cost me $2000. Why you ask? Well I love riding my new Road King so much now that I have had to buy a set of pipes, power commander and Screaming Eagle intake because I want it to sound as good to me as the seat feels to me. Thank you very much for the great service you guys provide and all the help. The seat is very comfortable and I can get both feet on the ground flat now and backing the bike up is a breeze.

Allen, I just wanted to send you a short note to let you know how pleased I am with your modification to my Mustang solo. It is now PERFECT, you did just what was needed to make this seat work for me on my Road King and it actually looks better than it did before you modified it.

You had previously done my brother's Road King stock seat, and the results were equally amazing.

A Harley isn't complete until it has a Mean City Cylces seat mod . You can quote me on that.

Thanks again, and best wishes for your business. Mean City's service raises the bar for everyone else to strive for.

I just received my modified seat and couldn't be happier. Even though it was 100 degrees outside, I had to take it for a test spin. WOW!!! I now feel like I'm one with the bike and love it even more. I didn't think the center-of-gravity could be improved upon, but I was wrong. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! Many thanks. You'll have a customer and referral for life.
